Goodbye 2011!
This has actually been a pretty good year for me. Usually I look forward to the new year because the current one was horrible, but I'll actually be sad to see 2011 go. Regardless, I'm still happy to welcome 2012. And if the end of the world really does happen, I'll just book it to Disneyland and die in the happiest place on Earth. Speaking of which, I'll be there for the New Years countdown, just like last year. And this year I shouldn't freeze my ass off in the cold because it seems the weather is a lot warmer this year.
I went to Disneyland a few days back. Super fun, though my nose just randomly started bleeding. But I think it's safe to say it's the happiest blood on Earth? Okay, I should probably stop with all that.
After a year's worth of searching (to be exact, 361 days), Disneyland finally restocked the Eeyore pillow pet while I was actually there! So I didn't hesitate and I bought it. He's super soft and I'm happy to welcome him to my Disney stuffed animal collection. I love him to pieces.
Until then, I'll be listening to my new Jack's Mannequin CD. Gotta love Andrew McMahon and all of his work. Arrivederci e buona notte, 2011.

Christmas
I'm rather sad to say that it went awfully. My mom just pretended like she wasn't home all day to avoid wishing me a Merry Christmas. We don't have cable anymore, so she no longer watches TV, nor does she listen to music. Nothing noisy to give me an indication that she was home. When she did finally come upstairs at around dinner time, it was just to get my dog and walk him. But she still said absolutely nothing to me. When I confronted her about it, she just knocked away all of my protests with insulting defense mechanisms, such as accusing me of never doing x or y, even though x and y had nothing to do with the situation at hand. We missed the family Christmas dinner and everything. Yup, this is exactly why I was looking forward to coming home so badly: to spend Christmas alone. On the bright side, I've celebrated Christmastime with my friends before the actual day, so Christmas hasn't been completely ruined for me. It's really just my mother. But it's not the first holiday she's ruined with her emotional roller coasters, so I guess I have a little experience at surviving these things.
It's also a bit disheartening to see on Tumblr all of the selfish Twitter feed screenshots that have been constantly reblogged onto my dashboard. It's always something along the lines of "I hate my parents because I didn't get a iPhone" or "All I got was [large sum] of money instead of a car", etc. It's not about the gifts, but about the giving. But I guess those who don't understand just weren't gifted with insight and empathy to begin with. All they care about is a physical gift they can enjoy for a few months until they break it and get bored with it.
Otherwise, it's just been a mostly quiet week. I have some new books that I'm excited to reread. I already own
Lord of the Flies and
Of Mice and Men, but they've been heavily annotated and I prefer to read unmarked books. So I took the opportunity of using some of the Christmas sales to get them for cheaper than usual.
And went to celebrate Christmas at Round 1 with Kristie and her friends a few days ago. It was super fun, excluding a bit of high tension that eventually resolved itself. Got myself a new super cute Rilakkuma with an adorable New Years theme to it. Afterwards I slept over at Kristie's and we played Final Fantasy X until my mom could pick me up. Unfortunately, I got sick during all that. I guess things are getting too cold for me. Oops.
Although my Christmas went off pretty badly, I'm positive New Years eve will be nothing but fun. It'll be Disneyland all day with some of my close friends. There we can watch the New Years fireworks. I went last year, and it was really fun. I've booked us a hotel to stay at after the park closes, in which fun and hilarity will probably then ensue.
Until then, I'll just keep rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's been a while since I've seen this show, and I have all the seasons downloaded anyway. Plus, Legend of Korra is coming out soon, and I'd rather refresh my memory of the first series before watching this one.
Or I'll play more Maplestory. Anything to keep me busy in my room when I don't have plans and to avoid confrontation, that may as well lead to another argument, with my mother until I get to go back to school. And to think I was homesick earlier this year.

Inexcusable messiness
Well, my domain finally transferred over, so this site is now
hannahconda.net! Yay. I finished uploading three of my older themes. From now on, I'd rather keep this website to be more of a personal blog and a place to upload my older Tumblr themes for others to enjoy. I'm a little tired of how slow it takes for the Theme Garden to accept and review themes. This blog should make things much easier for me. Unfortunately, since the blog is new, I have to upload and post a bunch of things up at once so I can have separate pages. So it's pretty messy around here, sorry! You can find downloadable content under
resources. Tutorials will be coming soon. I will be doing some
commissions, as well.
Anyway, I just got my new phone in the mail today. I'm getting used to using it, but I've just grown too accustomed to the brick I've been using for the past two years. My phone is super pretty though, and as soon as it restocks, I will be getting a Rilakkuma case for it.
For the past few days I've been Christmas shopping. Got the "perfect" present (Persona 3 Portable) from my wonderful friend. So I've been rushing to finish my replay of The World Ends With You so I can play this lovely game as soon as I can. I've never heard any negative feedback about P3P, so I'm excited to start playing it.
Definitely loving the Christmas spirit. Everyone seems to be a lot happier and nicer this year especially. More houses on my street have put up their Christmas lights. I almost forgot it was Christmas just next week, honestly. I guess longer winter breaks can do that to you. I am definitely soaking up all of the Christmas sales going on though. Bought myself some new Disney movies to enjoy.
I also got Taxi a new bright pink doggy parka he seems to enjoy. Merry Christmas, Taxi.
It's been a pretty good week minus the fact that I still haven't been to Disneyland at all. I'm definitely feeling the effects of withdrawal now. But I'm pretty sure Disneyland New Years eve and day is going to happen for sure. I am not going back to college empty handed.

Frequently Asked Questions
If your question is not answered here, you can contact me in the comment box below.
Can you teach me HTML or how to code Tumblr themes?
No. Tumblr already has a
really great tutorial for just that. If you want to learn how to code websites in general, you can visit
this website for extensive tutorials as to how to do just that.
How do you get rid of the note on "Space"?
Really. Are you serious. Read the note again. Still can't figure it out? Read it again. Read it until you have memorized every last word. Then follow the instructions provided by the note. Your question is answered on the note itself.
How do you change the font size on your themes?
CTRL+F "font-size" in the code and edit the number. Larger numbers warrant a larger font, and smaller numbers warrant a smaller font.
How do you change the opacity/transparency on your themes?
CTRL+F and edit everything that has to do with "opacity". The larger the number, the less transparent the object.
How do you add a link to the navigation on your themes?
Customize > Pages > Add a Page (or edit a preexisting page) > check off the box that says "Show a link to this page". If you wish to link to an offsite page, just choose "Redirect" under "Page Type".
How do I add unlimited scrolling to "Space"?
You can't. From what unlimited scrolling codes I do know of, they don't work well with horizontal themes.
How can I edit "Space" so that it scrolls vertically?
If you can figure it out yourself, then go ahead and edit it. But there is no short and simple method of editing it. I might edit "Space" myself so that it scrolls vertically and release it to the public when I have time.
Can you make me a custom theme?
Yes, for $5.
Click here for more information. I accept money via Paypal. Do note that I cannot make you a theme instantly. I have school, and my education is much more important. I will also make custom websites for personal use or businesses. I consider these a higher priority over Tumblr themes and my charge is significantly higher. Contact me if interested or for further information.

Hello!
I'll probably get this blog started once my domain transfers successfully? Or not. I don't know. Maybe it'll just become a portfolio of some sort or I'll actually switch from Tumblr to Blogger when it comes to posting personal things. I have a fairly strong inclination that I'll just switch back over to Tumblr and use my domain there, though. Regardless, the template has been made and maybe I'll get better at it later.
For now I'm just really excited for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance to come out. It'll be released March 2012 in Japan, so probably America can look forward to receiving it in the summer or the fall. I just need to get my hands on a 3DS and I'm set. Maybe a Kingdom Hearts limited edition 3DS will come out and it either won't be region locked or it'll actually be released in America. Only a few months more to wait.
Also, I dyed my hair blonde on Tuesday. Now my exterior matches my interior.. sorry that was lame. Not sure how long this blonde phase will last. At least my hair hasn't been significantly damaged, even though it went through two bleach treatments.
Meanwhile, I've been waiting for my modulator to come in the mail for the past week. They said it'd come two days ago, but they only sent it out two days ago. So my PS2 and TV are just sitting pretty until that comes. I have nothing else to do since it's break and I don't have a car. My life is so interesting it hurts. I just want to go to Disneyland.
